Would it be possible to replace the default lock screen while the Pre is on the touchstone charger? Preferably, the current clock app theme displayed and running.

Is it possible? Of course. The problem is just that no one has developed it yet.

    it HAS been written

TIWizard has posted weatherman, an app that replaces the background wallpaper with an active app.

the principles he used are very clear, and can be applied to ANY app.

That's kind of the idea, but I want the clock app to display automatically instead of the plain Jane lock screen when it's locked on the Touchstone charger.

Interesting, but I'm sure that app doesn't include the screen which the touchscreen correlates with. (black screen with simple time).

That is correct. The app, which I use, replaces the wallpaper. It has no effect on the lock screen.

i wondered the same thing! a way to change the wallpaper on the lock screen, i did a search on the internet and this is what i came up with: (wanted to post the link but im too new at this forum and i cant post links yet) but do a search on google with "lock screen wallpaper palm pre" and the first site that pop up is something about webos internalz and i has a pretty good explanation on how to do it. is all about changing the name on the wallpaper so the system recognizes it and then swap the new wallpaper for the old one. i haven't done it because is not a one step thing like it should be and i don't like doing too much work for someting so simple. hope this helps you guys. i just found this i didn't post it originally reps to crisiana33
