How do you edit app icon text lables?

How do I edit what text is displayed? I found a way to turn off the icon labels for all icons, but I only want to do it for selected ones. I tried a few things in specific applications' stylesheet .css files but no success. Any ideas?

i think you want to edit the "title" field from the appinfo.json in the application's directory
