Creating Palm Pre Emulator Profile

I'm trying to run the Cloud Services sample application in the WebOS SDK, "MojoMsgSample". In the instructions, it says to run the device sample application you need to launch the First Use application in the emulator and then log in. I cannot get this to work. If I try to create a new profile, I get the message, "Profile Creation Failed - We were unable to create the profile". If I try to use my actual Pre profile from my phone, I get the message, "Sign in Failed - We were unable to sign you in."

Has anyone been able to get either the MojoMsgSample app working and/or the Emulator First Use profile creation to work? If so how?

Could it be a firewall issue? My server is behind a firewall. If so, what do I need to open up to get the Emulator to work.
