Can I use Novacom to cp files over to my machine, or do I have to use another method for copying files from my pre to my machine?

Note: I need files that are not exposed in the USB drive...

    Thanks for helping the noob.

    Thanks,
    Keith

you should install internalz from Preware along with FileMgr Service and browse the files right on your pre. If you like you can copy the files to "media/internal/" and be able to see them when you mount your pre as a usb drive. hope that helps.

you can use novacom get and novacom put to get/put files if you are not afraid of command line.

Well, Audemars02, I got around this problem by using ssh instead of novacom.
