Here is my dilemma. I haven't been writing web-based software for long, so this is new to me. As some of you may know, I am working on a fuel fillup tracking program, named FillUps. Many of my beta testers have been tracking fillups for years on alternated platforms. Some of those platforms allow the capability to export the data.

Let's just assume that everyone's data comes in the same format, say CSV (I know this is unrealistic, but I have to start somewhere). What would be a good way to import their data onto the PRE and into my app? Would I need to have some server that would service AJAX calls to push the data? FilePicker looks promising, but I really don't understand how to parse the file after I select it! Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me, but I am definitely clueless on the best way to handle this, and I have some of the brightest developers out there to help me in this forum!

From what i've read, sqlite3 which is current running the databases on the Pre has a CSV import... or at least the ability to.

You can search through google "sqlite3 csv import" or here are some links:

As far as developing, and AJAX and howto.. i have no idea. I have some links though:

If you are right about sqlite importing CSV, you are so the man, and I will have to look into that!
