    Ok I think I am missing something. this is what i am doing

    ssh into the pre

    typing

    sudo -i
    Code:
    mount -o remount,rw /
    Code:
    vi /usr/lib/luna/system/luna-systemui/app/controllers/bar-assistant.jsjsjs
    Changing lines: 429, 444, 467, 800
    Code:
    //$('carrier').innerHTML = this.carrierText	
    $('carrier').innerHTML = $L("Verizon");
    after I do change those lines, how to I get back to the root@castle: prompt to type the following:

    mount -o remount ro /
    /sbin/initctl stop LunaSysMgr
    /sbin/initctl start LunaSysMgr

    how come when I try to modify the vi /usr/lib/luna/system/luna-systemui/stylesheets/systemui.css

    file and I type :wq ... it doesn't bring me back to the prompt root@castle:

    Did you hit the ESC (escape) key before typing :wq ?
