Does anyone know where homebrew applications get installed to on the phone? I'd like to change a few icons for some of the homebrew apps I've downloaded to something more Web 2.0-ish.

    /var/usr/palm/applications

I looked in there.. Didn't see any of the homebrew applications I installed there. All of the ones located in there were for the regular phone applications.

What do you mean by regular phone applications?

    Using Internalz, browsed to /var/usr/palm/applications

    Can see:

    de.umass.comics
    de.umass.translate
    com.tj.solitaire

etc. so your homebrew apps *should* be in there.

not sure if some of them install in a different location.

I looked at all the folders in Internalz and couldn't find /var/usr/palm/applications

My phone is being replaced 10/23/2009 and I'd like to backup my homebrew apps first and restore them to the new Pre. I've set up and run SyncToy V. 2.0. I've used Windows Explorer to look for the homebrew apps on the Pre and also on my laptop in the SyncToy folder I sync to and nowhere do I find my homebrew apps.
