I've been searching for a way to get Telephone numbers to on a webpage (in a Webview widget) to open in the telephone app.

With iPhone and Android I've just had to make the link "tel://5554443333". That's not working for me in WebOS however, and I haven't been able to find an answer.

I'd also like to be able to open SMS, email, YouTube, etc.

    Any ideas?

The same links seem to work fine in the Palm Pre browser. Yet they don't resolve when the same page is in a Webview Widget.

    Try tel:1234567890, for example

    <a href="tel:1234567890">(123) 456-7890</a>

Unfortunately that doesn't work for me either.
