Rooting palm pre

Can anyone post a video on how to root the pre using the new code from webos internals? I'm a complete noob at programming and hotrock85's video uses the old code. I need a video because just reading the site and doing it is very vague (I need to see wats happening)

I'm sure it will be appreciated by the whole pre community!

Your pre is already rooted.

just go here and follow instructions. i found it super easy getting to root using novaproxy and putty

Sorry, I meant getting ACCESS to the root files. Sorry to get all technical. :P
@fritos I know I can follow those but watching a video is much easier and you can see wat is supposed to happen. And I have no idea about programming in general...

Here is a basic insrcution set Novcom on windows and here is a more detailed instruction set Accessing Linux Using Novaterm - WebOS Internals I would follow the basic one and then the more detailed if the basic one is not detailed enough. Iif you still don't understand how to access linux let me know how these pages can be improved to help you better understand.
