You will have to create a browser plugin to accomplish the save as for images.. i think someone in the dev community might have been working on it.
im gonna have a look onto this plugin and see if i can do anything

works great for pdf's too
I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to do this (post Palm source code on the Internet for download). That's why everyone posts patches instead of full source files. I'd take this down before I got a C&D letter from Palm.

Please realise that you are redistributing modified proprietary Palm copyright code, which is strictly prohibited by the Palm software license agreement on the SDK, webOS Doctor, and the EULA you agree to when you start the Pre. WebOS source files are not open source, and nobody other than Palm has the right to redistribute modified versions of those files.
We already know that Palm takes copyright violations very seriously, and the WebOS Internals group distributes Patches rather than complete modified copies of the Palm files to comply with copyright laws.
I doubt that PreCentral wants to get a Cease&Desist letter as a result of this thread ...
Instructions on how to turn your modification into a Patch file (so you don't have to violate Palm's copyright) can be found at:
Applying Patches - WebOS Internals
If you'd like help in creating the patch, please join the #webos-internals IRC channel on Freenode.net, and we can assist you in getting this new patch into the existing repository of webOS patches we maintain at
http://gitorious.org/webos-internals...s/trees/master

Thanks for the all the work, much appreciated. I'm one of those people who are deathly interested in some kind of image save or even be able to pull image properties(to link the image). This will definitely help with errors trying to load a PDF or Office document from the web.
Im gonna wait for the patch so that I can easily remove it when update time comes.
I apologize to the admin, i did not know, sorry if i could have put this site in jeopardy
