    You must have a rotoed pre obviousley to do this.

    1) SSH into your pre, sudo -i and mount the filesystem as writeable
    Code:
    sudo -i
    mount -o remount,rw /
    2)Back up the file you are going to edit (instructions are around here to do that).

    3) Navigate to /usr/lib/luna/system/luna-applauncher/stylesheets and vi into "launcher.css"

    4) Look for the section that starts with .launcher_page .name { . That is the part that has the font size and color for the names of the apps in the launch. Below is the section with 16 point font, white color:

    Code:
    .launcher_page .name {
    	position:absolute;
    	top: 68px;
        width:100px;
    	height: 34px;
    	max-height: 34px;
        clear:both;
    	line-height:16px;
        color: #FFFFFF;
        text-align:center;
    	font-weight:bold;
        font-size: 16px;
    	overflow: hidden;
    	text-overflow: ellipsis;
    	z-index:5;
    Here are a few pics of examples:

    This!

    Haha. The only one worth doing is increasing the font size imo.

    What you're doing wrong = Using the root method.
    All you have to do is use WebOS QuickInstall to receive the file from: /usr/lib/luna/system/luna-applauncher/stylesheets/launcher.css
    Then edit the code where listed by original poster above.
    Reset. Voila!
    Then send the edited file back to the phone using WebOS QuickInstall to /usr/lib/luna/system/luna-applauncher/stylesheets/

    What if I want to have rows that have 4 icons across?

    What's up with your launcher icon? Looks like you covered it up in every pic?

    I've seen video where there are smaller icons in the launcher (ex: 4 across instead of 3). How do they do this?

    It's a tweak option in WebOS Quick Install, located here. When you open the Jar file and your phone is connected and Novacom is started, go to Tools > Tweaks and it's an option in there.
