Ok, what I'm wondering is if its possible to make custom themes(like they have over at xda-developers for the g1) is this possible? Anyone working on it? When do you suppose they will be made?

I ask this because I need changes often or else the device becomes "old" to me.

    Thanks

Sure there is a way. So far you can change the icons, the launcher backgrounds, and I think I found a way to change the dashboard and the black bit surrounding the wallpaper.

i've been working on this some. was trying to find a way to package them that wouldn't require use of linux but i think i'm giving up on that and going to make some scripts for installation/removal. I just started skinning the system gui objects and don't have any screenshots or time to take them now, but just about everything on this phone will be themed/skinned in the near future.

NICE! Maybe a desktop application where I can drap and drop my files? I am using Winscp and that works the same, but if we can simplify it the masses will create some awesome skins...IDK if that possible, I no nothing of programming...
