I was kind of salty when i found out this was not part of the Pre's google maps... They'll get it working. its google. Well, second thought they might not, i think Sprint charges a service along the same lines for $5 / mn. so maybe sprint will block it....

Highly unlikely.. Google Latitude is available on the Blackberry, and Sprint doesn't block it.. Latitude is not nearly up to the minute updates of where you may be at any given moment in time.

Since Google has never relased an api for Latitude, we're probably not going to see a homebrew app for it.

Hope Google works with getting the maps app to do Latitude soon.
