    I imagine that this is not possible since I haven't seen any mention of this, but is it possible to create a sequence via SQL ? What I am looking for is the correct/best way to store unique ID's in the DB tables. Under regular Oracle/SQL sequences can be created in the DB for this. In MySQL I believe that when creating a table you can get a column to auto increment.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    SQLite automatically handles this as ROWID (including the built-in ability to alias this automatic ROWID column with your own name).
