    Does anyone know the proper way to preform queries with the Google Maps app?
    I can not get it to show proper directions with:
    Code:
    	this.controller.serviceRequest('palm://com.palm.applicationManager', {
    	    method: 'launch',
    	    parameters: {
    	        id:"com.palm.app.maps",
    	        params:{"query":"f=d&hl=en&saddr="+latitude+","+longitude+"&daddr=DESTLAT,DESTLONG"}
    	    }
    	});
    Although I can launch a web browser to: maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&saddr=latitude,longitude&daddr=DESTLAT,DESTLONG"
    Which is the same query (maybe I am misreading it) and it will open a browser and then open the Google Map app with the right directions. The web browser method would work but it just opens an extra card.

    Thanks

    I'm having the same problem. I can get a proper map by entering ONLY the lat/long as the query parameters. But as soon as I try adding any other parameters my map comes up as a blank card.

    As far as I can tell, all of the parameters on this page should work:

    Google Map Parameters - Google Mapki

    Here's a simple example of the code that works for me. Any advice about how to specify additional map parameters would be greatly appreciated.

    var latitude = 40.6650;
    var longitude = -111.5164;

    this.controller.serviceRequest('palm://com.palm.applicationManager', {
    method: 'launch',
    parameters: {
    id: "com.palm.app.maps",
    params: {
    query: latitude + "," + longitude
    }
    }
    });

    The directions function for my touchpad built-in google maps recently disappeared. Is there any way to fix this?
