I saw recently in another thread that "benjio" had made a code to input when rooted and it would change the dialer to black instead of green. I was wondering if some could do something like that so i dont have to go through the folders and replace the logo. Just copy and paste the code so it does it automatically. Appreciate any help. thanks

Here is a quick one while I'm still at work. More later!!!!

    Code:
    wget http://i613.photobucket.com/albums/tt218/Elysian893/palm-logo-brightblue.png -O /usr/palm/sysmgr/images/palm-logo-bright.png

    Revert back to default:
    Code:
    wget http://unixgeeks.biz/images/palm/palm-logo-bright.png -O /usr/palm/sysmgr/images/palm-logo-bright.png

(Credit for the image to Elysian893... Thanks!)

Ok here are a few more, but nothing too fancy. You may have to make your root FS writeable beforehand, but I didnt. Also be sure to type "reboot" after each code to take effect (and see how it looks). Enjoy

    Code:
    wget http://i613.photobucket.com/albums/tt218/Elysian893/palm-logo-brightblue.png -O /usr/palm/sysmgr/images/palm-logo-bright.png

    Code:
    wget http://i613.photobucket.com/albums/tt218/Elysian893/palm-logo-brightblue-with-white-let.png -O /usr/palm/sysmgr/images/palm-logo-bright.png

    Code:
    wget http://i613.photobucket.com/albums/tt218/Elysian893/palm-logo-bright.png -O /usr/palm/sysmgr/images/palm-logo-bright.png

    Code:
    wget http://i613.photobucket.com/albums/tt218/Elysian893/palm-logo-bright-green.png -O /usr/palm/sysmgr/images/palm-logo-bright.png

    Code:
    wget http://i613.photobucket.com/albums/tt218/Elysian893/palm-logo-bright-yellow.png -O /usr/palm/sysmgr/images/palm-logo-bright.png

    Code:
    wget http://unixgeeks.biz/images/red_green/palm-logo-up-bright.png -O /usr/palm/sysmgr/images/palm-logo-bright.png

    Code:
    wget http://unixgeeks.biz/images/red_green/palm-logo-down-bright.png -O /usr/palm/sysmgr/images/palm-logo-bright.png

Thanks to Elysian893 and to JackieRipper on the wiki for the images. All I did was make the commands for their (Awesome) images.

what is the file accessed for the Non-bright logo? Since it alternates between the non-bright and bright? This could be used to put custom text on the two alternating logos (i.e., Bob's Pre)

I used these. I stole Tux the penguin with the background and made the chrome pre.
