    Palm is making only specific packages available for Ubuntu. No rpm packages for the rest of us who don't use Debian based systems, and no generic binary packages.

    Come on Palm. You can do better than this.

    Now to try and find a way to convert the .deb to an .rpm somehow without breaking it.

    can't you convert .deb to tar and convert that way?

    Try the package "alien". It has worked several times for me on other conversions. Should be found with YUM.

    Yeah you can. Just have to go through the process of checking out dependencies etc. I'm just pissed that Palm couldn't be bothered to do something that pretty much every other software vendor does.
