    I tried a simple test using a canvas on the Pre. Under firefox and Safari 4 the code works just fine and displays a circle with a missing wedge. On the Pre it displays a flower-petal shape. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Here's the code (you can create a new project and replace index.html with this):

    Code:
    <html>
     <head>
      <script type="application/x-javascript">
    var start = Math.PI*1.5;
    var stop = 0;
    var canvas = nil;
    var ctx = nil;

    function startup() {
      canvas = document.getElementById("canvas");
      ctx = canvas.getContext("2d");
      ctx.fillStyle = "red";
      ctx.strokeStyle = "black";
      ctx.beginPath();
      ctx.moveTo(175,175);
      ctx.arc(175, 175, 50, start, stop, true);
      ctx.closePath();
      ctx.fill();
      ctx.stroke();
    }
       </script>
     </head>
     <body onload="startup()">
       <canvas id="canvas" width="300" height="300"></canvas>
     </body>
    </html>

    the current version of webkit webos uses doesn't support all of the functionality of canvas tag

    I had read that. Arc is -mostly- working, it just behaves bizarrely for some values. I'll hope there are some more complete functions available in the SDK or else drawing segments of a circle is going to be interesting!
