Apologies if I'm asking this in the wrong place or it has been answered before but I've searched for it and can't seen to find the answer.

I've got the SDK installed and working but I'd really like to get the SDK on the net. My main reason for this is I'm planning on writing an app that needs to get stuff off the web and I can't do this if the emulator has no connection.

This may not be possible but I'm pretty sure I've seen people have already achieved it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks

The emulator can connect to the Internet. Run the browser.

I mean can the phone connect to the internet?

If I run the browser I get unable to load page. I did wonder if I needed to activate the wifi. I'm wondering if my virtualbox is setup correctly.

    How is your virtualbox setup?

I've set mine as bridged and to use my wireless connection.

No specific setup. Just ran the install program. I don't execute virtualbox, just run the emulator. Not using wireless.

    for network, use NAT instead

I get the error using NAT for network:
"Unable To Load Page http... Unable to resolve host."

And without VirtualBox, the emulator just won't run on my machine.
I wonder if there is some other things for dev install in your machine when you can run the emulator without VirtualBox?

    Please help...
    Many thanks
