2. Copy the image on your Pre

3. Post it here!

4. ?????

5. PROFIT!!

Lets see all the different views we will get! Maybe one of us might have something interesting!

Post the Date of production as well if you can.

Try without the capital T you put in ted...

No luck finding it anywhere on my Pre:

find / -name ted
find / -name hwtest
find / -name mtf*
find / -name *.jpg returns wallpapers and my images

I'm guessing no hardware test was ever run.

If your Pre is rooted use any of the first three commands above.

Your pre has to be rooted and you have to be logged in using SSH or with Rooter. (Telnet)

I cannot find the picture on my pre either. Seems like the newer models have the file deleted after they were taken. Mine was manufactured 6/7/09

Seriously hoping people keep posting these. It's a slim chance, but perhaps one will give away more details on the manufacturer/ing. Perhaps I'm just not up on all of my Pre news, but last I understood the manufacturer was still a mystery.
