vcf import and local calendar USB synch tool?

Hi,

I am looking for a vcf import and local calendar (Thunderbird or Outlook without Exchange server) USB (or bluetooth) synch tool. Phone is Palm Pre2.

This has been available for years from Nokia with PC Suite and Ovi Suite and I find it disappointing that I cannot import my contacts and sync my calendar with the PC via uSB anymore.
Rather I need to create a new e-mail account in Yahoo or Google, upload all the information there (andd keep the two mail accounts in synch) and then use the "cloud" to synch it to the phone. Too complicated.

Even the ability to import vcf files from the PC would be a good start.

If this is not possible, thanks but no thanks to Palm Pre2.
