Hay i just installed freetether but when i try to change the wifi name from freetether and change the password it will save, but then when i turn on the wifi tethering it changes it all back

As noted in the freetether thread http://forums.precentral.net/webos-i...er-0-99-x.html, it has been found that if you change the wifi settings, then close freetether, then re-open it, the new settings will stick.

Does free tether work with Verizon wireless and not use the mobile hotspot limit and free tether use the unlimited part of my data plan. ?

Again, I suggest you search in the freeTether thread for these answers, in future. However, the consensus so far from Verizon freeTether testers is that for some of them it doesn't touch their 5GB of MHS, but for others it does. YMMV.
