What's up with the Facebook app opening the full Facebook page when I click on a notification? It longer opens notifications in the app. Photo comments, post comments, link comments, etc. No notifications from the app take you to the app. This is true for Facebook & Facebook Beta on 2 different phones.

Same. Not sure when this started, but pretty sure this iteration of the beta hasn't always done this.

and when someone posts on my wall it suggests that I send a friend request to myself. I like me and all but I wouldn't want to read my posts...

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with facebook's new privacy settings.

From Facebook® for Palm webOS on Facebook:

Facebook made some changes to their notifications, thereby breaking our app. We're looking into and working on it. It'll be fixed in the next release of our app.

I wish I could say the same. All notifications still open in browser. But hey, maybe this is a sign they're fixing things on Facebook's end.

I've noticed this too, I was actually puzzled when it first happened, I had to go back and replicate the issue to make sure I wasn't crazy. Glad a fix is on the way.

So, I have a question--where do you go to provide feedback on the Facebook app?

Voice your complaints on the their Facebook page: Facebook for Palm webOS

Many people already have so they're working on it...at least. They said it's going to be fixed in the next app update. Who knows when that will be.

After I posted it went back to opening the web based FB. Weird. It really did work as it should for a few minutes this morning.

its not the app. its facebook - itself.
go on, go to facebook mobile, and try to check ANY photo notification. see what happens.
facebook keeps trying to make its user experience more convenient, while ironically, its making it difficult..
