How does the "dodge" and "avoid trap" features work?
I tap them when they appear on screen but nothing appears to happen at all.
Should there be evidence in the log of success or fail?

I have probably "died" more often the 1st two levels of WizCh2 than all of Ch 1 entirely.

Not a fan so far of the "tap to dodge", makes the game rather chaotic and now requires a 2nd hand (as it appears/disappears so quickly) to play.

So I ignore it probably to my character's detriment.

The dodge mechanic's time can be increased by getting more Agility. At the start it only shows for a few milliseconds, but after you put some points into Agility it'll stay for a whole second and more. The idea is if you don't have very high Agility, you just can't dodge, unless you are superhuman.
