Vote for WebOS and make our App Requests count!
The purpose of this thread to collect a list of links (official support forums, contact forms, etc) where we can make our collective voices heard by these developers to let them know that there is a huge market of WebOS users waiting for their apps. The idea is: Instead of just posting here on the PreCentral forums about which apps you want, we can accomplish a lot more by telling these developers that we are interested in their products and that they have a market of customers waiting for them to release a WebOS app. So far this kind of feedback has brought us Angry Birds and Spotify!
I've divided it into these 3 initial posts: 1. Sites where you can just click a "vote" button to voice that you want the app on WebOS. These sites tally votes and by funneling our large community to them we can easily make WebOS the most requested feature for all of these developers. 2. Threads on official support forums. Almost as easy as voting (can just post "+1"), but it's questionable how effective it is (and it definitely doesn't give a straightforward number of how many people want WebOS compared to every other requested feature). 3. Contact forms or email addresses. These will obviously require a little more work as you'll have to write coherent sentences, but I think most of us can handle that. Let me know if you know any other ones and I'll do my best to keep this list updated. docs to go or an alternative
olivetree bible or an alternative that includes on device bibles of Red Letter NIV sirius radio Rhapsody or napster client Checkbook app that will sync with my wife's webos device. |

File Access
I would like to see the following on WebOS:
1. A WebOS FTP Client 2. Ability to browse Windows shares via Wifi 3. Ability to serve files from WebOS via Bluetooth/Wifi (this would eliminate the need to connect the phone via USB to transfer pictures, etc. The phone can just sit happily on its Touchstone charger) |

Just a heads-up to the OP, I've already publicly stated I've started work on a Dropbox app for the Pre
