Default Scoop problems - 800Mhz patch or API issue?

Scoop was working great for me yesterday, but today after installing the 800MHz patch, it just gives an error:
Error from Google Reader:

{"message": "Badly formed JSON string: '\\n\\n\\n
Scoop was pretty fast before the patch, is it just too damn fast for Google to handle now, or is something broken with Scoop and the API today, or with my copy?

Anyone running at stock 500 MHz having issues with Scoop?

I get that error occasionally, but I have no MHz patches installed. I just log out and back into the google reader account within Scoop and it works again.
