Default Astraware games will be coming...

So I have been dropping hints and communicating with astraware via twitter about porting their stuff to webOS.

This morning, here was the tweet thread between us:

Quote:
astraware Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone users - we'll have new games for you soon too! Follow us & RT so we can keep you updated!

headgamer @astraware we webOS users would like to get some new games too!

astraware Hi @headgamer ! Talking to Palm about getting titles onto webOS, and once their PDK is released (hopefully next week) we'll start work!
So it looks like the only thing Astraware is waiting on to develop games for webOS is the PDK! Sweet.

Just thought some of you might be interested.

Yes! I like the sound of that Headgamer! I've been a fan of Astraware for a while. I have several of their free offerings on Palm, and purchased a few too! I was interested in the Westward game, tried the trial.

Games I've had/played from Astraware:
Mummy Maze
Seven Seas
Tradewinds
Tradewinds II
Bzzz!
Police Range
My Little Tank
Strange Adventures in Infinite Space

I look forward to the future of Astraware on webOS!

Oh no, better start saving, Astraware in the catalog means a hit to my wallet

Kind of sad that they didn't get early access to the PDK. Their post seem to mean that they haven't even started working on the PDK.

every developer has had access to the PDK - no excuse there.

it was open to the public; it is really a question of their level of dedication to the platform - they were probably busy focusing on ipad updates than wanting to support the web os platform. there are a tonne of other developers already working with the PDK - it didn't take long for us to support the platform. i think the web os has more potential than many of the markets out there - we are proud to support the platform!

you mean.. like this? we have started on a port from Palm OS to iphone/ipod touch/web os/desktop etc.. just need to finish it up - it'll play much better with new artwork, audio, and controls!

i hope to start working on this again soon!
