Evernote (unable to zoom pictures)?

I'm contemplating switching from a hero to the pre. Love the webOS, find the pre less laggy than my hero, but I have a few concerns. One of them is that I like to use evernote a lot to take pictures of an article or a recipe in a book. With the android evernote app, I can then open any of these picture notes and they will enlarge enough to read the text. With the pre's evernote app, all I can get is more or less a preview image, text not readable, can't zoom in. So I guess, with the pre you could add to your notes, but have to only use them with a pc? A real hesitation point for me.

Anyone have any hints for me? Am I doing something wrong? Is there any way to download the pic from evernote to the phone's photos to read it? I'm stuck.
