Smart Office 2.0 released for WebOS tablet | services.picsel.com

Apparently smart office 2.0 for webos was 'released' - but I see nor hear no sign of it.

Any ideas what the above link actually means?

If you have smart office on your tablet right now that is considered the picsel 2.0. In the beginning he abandoned webOS . So, this was his return.

Based on the features listed at 2.0 | services.picsel.com the version I have is not 2.0! This seems to have some new features...

Never released apparently. Only listed 1.8.5 on version here myself. I think he abandoned it again.

Bought picsel for HP Touchpad. It seems to have way better functionality than the QuickOffice app, EXCEPT for connectivity to google docs.

picsel fails to connect with google docs (google drive).

I repeat: PICSEL FAILS TO CONNECT WITH GOOGLE DOCS. If you want that connectivity, don't buy it for the HP Touchpad.

There is a very clunky work-around: Use QuickOffice to access google docs; save file to Touchpad; navigate to file using picsel software; edit; save to Touchpad; open it in QuickOffice and save to google docs.

I should point out that this clunky work around is largely necessitated by another shortcoming of HP Touchpads--the browser does not do google docs.

Comes with the turf of using an aborted platform, and I haven't wanted to make the leap to Android on the Touchpad quite yet.

Youíre talking about Picsel 1.8.5, NOT 2.0, right? I never had problems connecting to Google Docs, but I never tried it without having the reguler Google account set up in the native Accounts app.
