    Apparently Imore sent its app to this guy and he sent back a link to a video showing it running on playbook.
    They think it works best for games.

    So my question: could this run on webOS too?

    The game's afoot now.

    Well … it works best for games because games don't use too many platform APIs. It will only use some input stuff and some initialisation code before it starts calling the OpenGL ES functions. I think iOS uses Mach-O binaries (like desktop OS X), but making that execute on Linux is not really a problem in itself and has been done (https://github.com/shinh/maloader).

    However, getting full UI applications running needs a lot more trickery as you'd have to reimplement Apple's toolkit. Apart from that, acquiring the unencrypted binaries could be a problem

    It could happen if we port GNUstep: GNUstep.org
