Perhaps if users had bought apps all along there wouldn't be a need for yearly App buys or the need for developers to go elsewhere...

Don't think that was the problem. There were just not enough users.

There were up to a million touchpads sold (we assumed).. how many of us have 2, 3, or more of them? How many of us have switched to Android? Or moved to other hardware? *shrug* I have no answers, nor even any guesses.

I'll buy something on all 3 of the webOS accounts I'm party to. I usually buy 3 or 4 apps a month on my own account, but I'll make sure that we find some things that my girlfriend and daughter will find useful, too.

I finally bought Kalemsoft's Media Player and James Harris' Flash Cards.

I plan to support our active developers first, then the big names who are still with us.

nice smartkidsontherun, for joining on the great effort of webOS community and for that I'm please to inform you that I bought some of your apps on the HP catalog for my touchpad and my phone too. Interestingly enough, I didn't knew about datajog app for webOS great concept almost like touch-to-share but differently approach.

Thank-you! It's tough getting coverage of DataJog / Send to webOS! Many people have not heard of it and certainly enjoy it when they get it!

    Thanks for the kind words!
