I want to stream my desktop to my Touchpad. Since Splashtop has a Touchpad app, that seems like the right way to go, except that my home machine runs Ubuntu. It appears that Splashtop doesn't stream from a Linux host.

How should I proceed? Here are some options:
    1) Have someone correct me by pointing me to a Linux version of Splashtop
    2) Go back to Windows (this is an option but I'd rather not)
    3) Run Splashtop via wine (doesn't seem to work--some kind of port problem)
    4) Run Splashtop via Windows via Virtualbox (haven't tried this yet because I'd rather have a native solution)
    5) Find another solution that supports both Ubuntu and WebOS

    Any ideas?

Have you tried contacting them directly to see if they have a solution?

(Have to rule out the obvious first choice )
Due to the cancellation of the penny, I no longer give 2 about anything. I may however, give a nickel

I can't ask them directly (there's no Contact Us link) but there's a note on the Splashtop website, dated 9/30/2011, indicating that they plan to support Linux but have "no solid schedule" for implementing it. I've posted on that thread asking if there's any update. Separately, in the Feature Request area of the website, it's the top-voted feature request. (Actually, it's 2 of the top 3 outstanding feature requests). They seem to be pretty good at closing out those feature requests so I think it's safe to assume they don't have a solution yet.
