So, we've hit the magic 5000 target. As OddBlob is taking longer to port than previously expected, we're going to release Astraware Casino first. We expect to be able to submit it to HP this week!

Keep an eye on our Twitter/Facebook/Google+ for more news!

Whew! I was getting an odd feeling since we hadn't seen that purple claymation dude yet. So...any news on what you may look at porting over next?

We'll want to see how sales go with Astraware Casino and OddBlob before we can commit to other titles. Whilst we've reached the targets on the Totalizer, those were really only enough to cover the cost of development, so we'd hope to see more sales to make the games truly profitable on webOS.

I'm in for Casino when it gets released! I have no idea what OddBlob is, but may want that too once I see. I've never understood how to play Mahjong, so that's the only reason I didn't get it. I still don't understand that one, but that could be because I'm too lazy busy to look up the rules. Thanks for the support and luvin' for webOS, guys!!

I have Oddblob for the Pre (never was able to get a TouchPad deal). It's pretty fun...with such a small screen I sometimes tap a bit errantly and accidentally jump off to my doom! Think of a brick network of paths, suspended over the abyss of nothingness...where some blocks break after you use them. He's a cute little claymation blob who has a thing for fruit and pie...and valentines. There are little 'boost' items that help you along...or help you jump off the edge if you aren't careful.

Mahjong is a fun game, I haven't purchased the Astraware version for the Pre yet, but I think I will. It's simply a matching game. You have to tap two tiles with the same image to get them to disappear. The object is to remove all the tiles. But you have to be careful...there may be 4 of the same tile, but some may be covered up by other tiles. Selecting the right tiles in the right order, to make all the tiles available to be removed...that can be tough. I like the game though, and I'll bet the Astraware one is a nice implementation...even on the Pre.

Hey Astraware...a little off topic, but does Mahjong for the Pre have music? Some games do, like OddBlob so I wondered if there was for Mahjong.

    Great news on Casino!

Astraware Mahjong has pleasant, somewhat musical sound effects, but not a soundtrack as such. OddBlob has different tunes which run through the game.

Astraware mahjong is worth it. Once you start playing it's addicting. Got it for the wife initially, then she got me hooked on it.
I love physical keyboards... but there is two devices that would make me consider a slab, one is something running a full version of Open webOS. The other is an iPhone!!!! HA HA just kidding (about the iPhone that is)...

As with Astraware Sudoku, this version of Astraware Casino is a direct port of the game from our iPad version, which is also portrait only.

The extra cost of re-doing the graphics and updating the game to support a different orientation hasn't been supported by the number of sales so far. To date, Astraware Mahjong has been the best-seller of the first three by quite some margin, followed by Astraware Solitaire, and then Astraware Sudoku in third place.

Sales of all three titles have just made enough to cover the cost of development so far. In order for us to commit to adding features, making changes etc, we'd need to see all of the games making a significant profit in order to cover the cost of the additional work.
