Would love a decent CRM app that could be utilized as the following:

    1) Database of clients/prospects
    2) Integration with native calendar.
    3) Ability to add events and notes for the client/prospect.
    4) Task Scheduler

I'm sure I'm leaving out a few things that would make the app great, but those would be a great start...

Why don’t you use GMail or Outlook as your database?
    webOS is simply fabulous

I have a web based database that I can use. Would prefer something native to the touchpad so that it can be utilized where ever I might be without regard to wifi access.

Understand. I’m not a homebrewer nor a developer … but as a self-employed graphic designer, a CRM app would also be useful for me.

Wht kind of DB? SQL? So this could be accessed by JScript, which, based on my unfortunately low webOS knowledge, should be no problem with this OS. And I would love to do some UI design for an app!!!

Which CRM solution are you using right now?

Use a program called SmartOffice currently. It's great for what it does, but really would like something offline. I'm not particular on DB....I've tried CallBook on TP. Not a bad start to a program, but just too limited for what I'd like. (That and it's designed for door-to-door.) I really wish I had programming knowledge as I think there would be a decent market for this kind of program.

Programming would be the worst part of it. Let’s tackle features, structure and a suitable UI first. Feel free posting me links or else by private message – I’ll send you my contact details …

    In my eyes:

First screen would have an alphabetized list of those in the database with a search feature. The database would include at least: First Name, MI, Last Name, Address, City State, Zip, Home Phone, Work Phone, Cell Phone, e-mail address, Spouse Name. Would be great to be able to sort, but not necessary.

Once you are in a contact, you would be able to add an event to the calendar or add a task. Each would be recorded on the database along with any notes that you take on it and would be viewable later. The calendar events would be posted to the native calendar. The tasks and the calendar could have subject line, date, time and notes.

Thats seems like a decent start?
