The sites he is requesting are sites that run Poker for money. Not just for fun
In a world of droid, Pre does it better.

Shouldn't we treat this world like the Garden of Eden and avoid the apple at all costs?

You won't find true gambling apps--for money, I mean--on the webOS platform.

Actually there are still many sites that allow US residents to play poker for money online

I created a website where I list TouchPad flash compatible games. I have one on there called governor of poker 2 that is really fun. Is not for money but really fun.

I play on poker4ever via splashtop sometimes. Works ok. Haven't tried via the internet though.

Don't think you are going to find many if any folks interested in dedicating the time to develop an app that is currently of questionable legality in the US.

Not that the dev would be held legally accountable, but when they pull the plug on a given site, the app then would be useless and the devs time waste.

They shut down some site not to long ago. Didn't know poker stars was back up.... looks like they state on their page, real money is prohibited.
I love physical keyboards... but there is two devices that would make me consider a slab, one is something running a full version of Open webOS. The other is an iPhone!!!! HA HA just kidding (about the iPhone that is)...

Was looking for at the poker apps for the ipad the other day and didn't see anything for real poker sites. They were all just video poker or play money.

As such I don't think webOS is any different. People don't make 'real' poker apps for tablets because the vast majority of people want to play on a traditional pc setup. I just don't think a touch interface is a good match for online poker. It would be far too easy to mis-click and too awkard to enter bet sizes with a virtual keyboard / slider.

Another very good point. Full Tilt got shut down completely recently and PokerStars is a lot quieter now the US players have gone.
