When I got my touchpad I was shocked to see the extremely low caliber of the paint/drawing apps. I am an artist and I think that the touchpad large screen realestate is just begging for a quality drawing app. Something that has full range color selection, opacity control, brush selection, and the ability to save as a jpg or similar file type. Paintr Lite was a great example that I have on my pre plus. I would just love to get that program, or something very similar on the touchpad. I really think it would be a big seller.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm a graphic designer and I would love to be able to draw concept sketches on my touchpad.

i had this dream of it being kind of like a wacom tablet. but i dont think it has the same sensitivity as that, and would also need a stylus

    Try the web app Pixlr.com

It's not the ideal solution but it works.

My work-in-progress app (nuttypad) could evolve into this as well

I just need to fix some canvas+zoom issues... *sigh*

    Same here.

I keep forgetting to test Pixlr and SumoPaint, which I hear work pretty well, but you need to be connected to wifi to use them. I don't want to have to waste my phone's battery life tethering when I just want to "paint" on the train and whatnot.
