Is there any way to get Visual Boy Advance on the touchpad? even the scaled-up phone PDK version would be fine since it has to scale up the game anyway.
It doesn't seem to show up in Preware anymore and is unavailable in the App Catalog for purchase, but I still have it on my pre. Does anyone know how to get VBA on the touchpad? |

You can construct an ipk for yourself, since VBA is open-source. I'll post more details later if you need help with it.

Hi,
You can definitely build VBA for the touchpad, but for a number of reasons it's barely usable. Actual *gameplay* is great on the touchpad's great screen and fast processor, but the rest is a big mess that doesn't scale well in its current form. Once I have time to address these issues, I'll push the update to preware and app catalog as usual. On the rough Touchpad-TODO are things like upgrading the skins to make sense for the larger screen, and misc other improvements. Regarding *when* I don't expect to have time to sit down and do this for a few weeks, sorry!

Emulation on a tablet sized device I imagine is a great experience. Probably even better than the original portable devices. And for at home platforms a great way to play those games on the go. I've been using my netbook with a logitech game controller to play games on emulators when I am away from home on trips.

I would assume the same process as for the pre/pre+, but it has been so long since I glanced at that info I don't remember anything about how they were made. But I'm assuming they use resolution coordinates.
