if someone has RDP, would they need Splashtop?
    How secure is RDP?
Thanks, helping a friend with windows and his TouchPad now. He would use RDP for work files, wants a solution also for his daughter's netflix account.

Hp finally posted the update (16 days!). They were having a technical problem. It should be available everywhere now.

Base RDP is fairly secure (SSL/TLS) but has a MITM issue. The latest protocol versions have fixed that.

Netflix on the other had detects RDP and refuses to play. I guess they don't like the lack of DRM.

Actually, I think it is possible to get netflix working... Sorta, if you run windows in a vm then use rdp to access the vm console on the host machine, netflix can't detect the rdp session.

Of course this works only if you like watching movies at 2fps.
