since i know many of you are expecting all the mojo apps to work on the touchpad, I just wanted to report that the app catalog review team has found compatibilty issues with a very big number of apps. so dont expect 7000 apps in the Touchpad catalog.

well I didn't expect it, I tested all my apps and they work, 6 of 8 where denied, for me this was the last straw

so they work but were rejected? That's odd.

Did they give grounds for why they were rejected?
Were these updated apps or new apps?
Were they all mojo apps or only the ones that were rejected were mojo apps?

Sounds like someone is a little ****-hurt.

i only care about native Touchpad apps for the Touchpad.

agree, they need to give SPECIFICS as to why an app failed or marked borderline. Just a vague email listing all the possible reasons an app could hypothetically fail does absoluately no good as a developer.

Wouldn't you be if you were counting on selling your apps to a new market after being given the impression that the TouchPad's backwards compatibility would be, at least, on par with its competitors?

Yea I'm tempted to post a shotgun e-mail...summarizing, your app is compatible with the XXXXXX, but the app reviewers have found a problem but dont know the source of the problem, please test and resubmit?

"Please test and resubmit" sounds like code for "rewrite it in Enyo."
