Thanks - been looking forward to a good database - however there is a problem with the App catalog - Using my Pre 2 (webOS 2.1). Using Preware I get told 'this app is not available for your model.
Going to the app catalog directly - it does not exist. I think you need to check your submission settings or talk to HPalm. Thanks. |

Works great. Had a couple issues, but deleted data and re-imported from Google docs and working like a charm. My concern is the program states it will expire in June. Will there be a full version to replace it? I don't want to put all my info in here if I won't be able to use it after June. Thanks!

Don't worry. Before it expires, there will be either the final 1.0 or a new beta with extended expiration date. Currently, there is beta 0.9.2 and 0.9.3 is in the works.
Also, you will be able to migrate your data from the beta to the final by either export/import of definition and data or by just copying the data file on the media partition. Whatever you do, do not uninstall the beta. Because webOS then deletes all data associated with it from the phone. If you have any issues with the beta, please don't hesitate to contact us by email. Thanks! |

Hey, I just wanted to say that this is working really well for me. I've been using Smartlist-to-go in Classic until something like this came along. I haven't played with the 'relational' side of things much yet but the imports (of some pretty significant amounts of text and data) worked FLAWLESSLY from Google Docs spreadsheets and I'm really loving the 'just type' style search - particularly how I can switch tables with the same search and get to the right spot immediately.
I'm running a Verizon Pre2 (doctored to 2.1) and I've not had any hiccups that were not of my own making. So far I've just been putting in the data and haven't had as much of an opportunity to really use it. But I'm looking forward to it! Thanks. |

If you define references between tables, then you will see fields of the referenced table in the original table list. You also see them when entering data, but you cannot enter data there.
For example, if you have a table with books and a table with authors and books references authors, then you will see the author of a book in the table of books and when editing book data. |

I understand that, but what I'm not sure of is if I can make a view for making entries in that book table that displays the fields in one order that is more convenient for what data needs to be entered and then another view for searches that will display the fields in another order that is better when retrieving data.
