It's been a while since I have been through the App Catalog. I am sure some great apps have come out. I want to know what is your top ten apps on your device. You know, those great productive, social, entertaining, or any app that makes your webos experience great. The apps you use daily. Hopefully your input will give me some to look into as my new faves.

Well, there's a bunch you already have, and then there's:

    Popsci
Mind Wall (game. It's not for everybody)
    Radiant (game)
    TED
Neato! (hopefully you have this one. Had to put it here just in case)
MPR is still my music app of choice
The new twitter (twithibition) and weather exhibition apps are both pretty OK.

In no particular order, these are the 10 apps used daily. I didn't include any homebrew apps, only official apps. I didn't include games because those come and go depending on the mood I'm in.

    Amigo
    News Room
Carbon/Twee2 (I bounce between both of them daily)
    Sports Live
    JogStats
    GeoStrings
    Notes
    Forums
    Manga Reader
    TuneIn by RadioTime

    Honorable mention goes to Pandora/Slacker.

Thanks for all the great replies. I am lookng into a couple from each response. Webos really does have some quality apps. I used to have a launcher web page for Pentagon Federal Credit Union but 1.4.5 broke their mobile websites functionality. It still works fine in 1.4.1. I have a few PDF ebooks I can't read anymore because the PDF viewer now crashes with those ebooks and it did not with 1.4.1.
    I use:
    MPR 2.0
    Browser
Camera (hopefully we get new apps if the apis are released with 2.1. Iphone has a plethora of apps
    Email
    PReader
Auction Mate Pro (my msgs stopped displaying using the regular web page)
    Tune In
    Asphalt5
    Pandora
    Sports Calendar Pro
All used daily as well as the customary Govnah and Uberkernel. Honorable mention to Preware, InternalZ, and Webos QI even though it is not a phone app.

Why limit to 10, I'll list the ones that get real use & don't just occupy space on my phone (I won’t list Preware, but it’s a given & the glue that keeps me with webOS):

-also, I didn't list ‘stock’ apps that came with the phone (Sprint – Launch Pre- for now)

    1.Carbon
    2. Music Player Remix
    3. Ampache Mobile
    4. Untappd Lite
    5. Newsroom (before they chopped full display of 1/2 my feeds)
    6. KalemSoft Media (if you have young kids, you should def try this out)
    7. TuneIn by Radiotime
    8. PodSnatcher
    9. FlightView
    10. MyQ for Netflix
    11. Sports Live! (with the exception of the NCAABB hiccup)
    12. bit.ly
    13. LaunchPoint (for sms grouping)
    14. XBMC Remote (needs work though)
    15. Real Estate by Smarter Agent
    17. Weather Channel
    18. Govnah
    19. Forums
    20. XboxLive Friends (need update! )
    21. 8tracks
    22. Neato!
    23. Express Stocks

A little OT, but I need to note this. Missing from this list is Pandora. I actually use it, and I would love to keep using it, but it has issues. I can say without a doubt, 100% certain, that Pandora…at least on my Pre-, is the primary cause of headphone/speaker issues. In my case, it is in no way hardware related (not discounting that some truly do have a hardware issue).

Q-tip cleaning methods aside, I’ve had this phone for nearly 2 years now, and it almost never fails that the use of Pandora coincides with my headphone jack taking a d*mp & messing up my mic/speakers/etc. I know this. I use my Pre for music streaming every single day @ the office, in my car, etc. I am a heavy user of this device as a music player, so much that it’s largely replaced the use of my Zune 40 & Zune 120. I have never had the headphone issue with any other app, and I’m extremely cognizant of recognizing the problem & which apps I was using when it happens. It’s always and consistently after the use of Pandora. I’ve posted this before, a long time ago, but would like to shine a brief light on it again, as I would love to go back to daily use of Pandora (if anyone is reading & can impact a change).

    Cheers all!

My own experience with the headphone jack is that, even though I use headphones almost every day, the only time I would have problems is if I had a phone call come in while I was listening to a podcast. This was the case for the longest time, and I was just sure that it was a software bug. Other people might be having problems because of dirt, but mine was a software problem.

Then it happened again, but without the phone call. I got out the rubbing alcohol, pulled most of the fuzz off a Q-tip, cleaned the jack, and haven't had a problem since.

So this doesn't count as a thread derail, here's my top-10 apps:

    1: NewsRoom
2: Dr. Podder (I did mention I used headphones almost every day)
3: Tea Timer (At least 1 cup of green tea daily)
    4: Keyring
    5: AccuWeather
    6: Timepiece
    7: Checkbook Beta
8: ClassicNote (Imported all my memos from my old Palm T3)
    9: Comics
    10: Forums

Deliberately left off the games, but honorable mentions go to Angry Birds, Sparkle, Worms, and Free Klondike
