Who else wants a Chase Bank app!?

Lets start some kind of petition or find a way to flood the emails of the Chase IT department and demand a Chase Bank app.

If anyone can think of any creative ways to get Chase to hear us, post them here. If Egypt can demand for a new leader and get one, why can't we get an app!? Time for the WebOS Community to stand up! lol I'm serious!

A "Mint" client app would subsume individual apps from different banks including Chase with added functionality.

Therefore, I would suggest also channelling the same energy at "Mint"/Intuit to provide a webOS client app.

Forget chase bank they just charged me a 20 dollar service fee when its only supposed to be 15 and screw the 15 dollar service fee anyway unless I have an average balance of 15000 dollars. I've never had anywhere near that much in my bank at once let alone average. Its a joke. 20 bucks a month would probably be more like 15 to 20% of my average balance. Forget them. Even though it isn't much they use my money to make loans and stuff like that. Then they want me to pay them to do it too. Whatever!

Contact Chase. Put pressure on them. Point out to them it is no longer Palm, but HP, the worlds largest computer company.

And also remember that there are probably people inside HP and Chase who feel the same way, and just need to build a business case.

i think they are working on it. i sent phil a tweet and told me he would pass it on to developers. i mentioned about netfix too -=)

If we were working on it, it would already be on the roadmap for our system releases which we do 3 a year. I do not see it listed for any of them this year.

i would like one. and as far as outrageous fees, bank of america is the worst. but at least they have an app... lol. usaa could use one too@

It is possible to Homebrew a Chase app based on the web interface, but it won't have the functionality for depositing a check by uploading a photo of it.

But i don't know if it's worth the bother for me to build and support an app like that though. It's a vital functionality that everyone will expect to "just work", and i won't get even a penny for maintaining it, because it's not my company, not my server and not my trademark... but i may change my mind later on if i can work this into an accounting app plugin, like Mint does, for my own personal use
