since netflix made an app for Chrome OS, a touchpad version should be an easy next step. We just need to request it, every touchpad owner emailing will get their attention.

any developer think they can take the chrome os app and port it? Or is that even possible?

Netflix not supporting the device, is definitely not a deal breaker for myself. Especially in considering that Netflix's selection for streaming, is pretty shabby to say the least.

to what event, unless H/P makes more, the peak of webOS users would be reached by the time sept ends and after that only decline. No strong leadership at H/P to direct developers right now who are rudderless.

Well Splashtop just went on sale for 4.99 (I think). Remotes to your desktop and works amazing for Netflix and Hulu and just about everything else. Simple and cheap. with HP's abandonment of the Palm platform (as well as all other hardware) there is little chance a netflix or hulu app will appear anytime soon.

The peak of touchpad owners might be at the end of Sept at @ 1 million users but overall WebOS users peaked a couple of years ago at 3.5 million. Even that is not a particularly large number - to put it into context, HTC has sold 4 million android handsets in the UK alone.
