Apologies, but we still can not say definitively when a WebOS version will be available. However, it will be sometime after WebOS 2.0 is made generally available, as that is the version of WebOS that adds general support for hybrid apps.

The app will be a hybrid app, meaning it will utilize both JavaScript and native code. We do not makes alphas publicly available. When a public beta is ready, we will make it available, but we do not expect this before webOS 2.0 becomes generally available.

I hope you're able to release it very soon after webOS 2.0. As you may have heard, Classic will not run with 2.0. That means we won't be able to use iSilo at all once the OS upgrade is pushed to our devices if you don't have a native version available. This will take away my greatest use of my Pre.

I'd definitely be willing to try a beta version rather than have no iSilo at all.

Going to see a *lot* of this happening since devs can now port their native apps to webOS (apart from games which has been possible for a while).
