I don't understand the purpose of the line, I don't need to drink to have fun. Great, no one does. But why start a fire with flint and sticks when they've invented the lighter?

Let's all give thanks to the app that started it all.

I don't know if you have the patch installed that let's you view how many downloads an app has in the catalog; but if you do, you'll see that Angry Birds has just under 38,000 downloads, and the lite version has just under 73,000 downloads. That's just over 110,000 downloads combined.

If you can recall, the Android version got over 2 million downloads the first 3 days it was released.
Android users download Angry Birds two million times in three days | Joystiq

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out which one to focus on. Their largest user base is iOS & Android. I agree it sucks that we got past over for an update, but they are focused on the #'s. Maybe if we bombard their Facebook page & inbox, they way Sprint user did for the Pre 2, we can get it a little sooner.

    38,000 @ 1.99 - palm's 30% = ~$52,994 (prob less if that number includes redownloads in the count)

Millions on android for free but with ads and buyable addon's. If just a small percent buy addon's Rovio can make the Webos's version from launch to present quite easily.

I am amazed the number is soo low! not near 100,000 even.. so sad.

Selling my Palm things: just make an offer: http://forums.webosnation.com/market...nd-offers.html

Well I've "sold" 15 Pres so far and only 1 user complaint, and they were all schooled on features so they know how to rock their Pres.

However I have met at least 3 Pre\Pixi users in the wild that DID NOT KNOW THE PHONE HAS APPS!!! O.o So with the fail of Palms ads not *actually* showing what the phone can do, and the general suckage of the sales reps ability, many people out their with Pres seem to think it's a large screen feature phone... Smh
