So this application is pretty cool. Check all the stats of your vehicle, remote start, unlock doors, etc.

BUT.... only for iPhone and Android. Figures. Doesn't look like there's much hope for us webOS folks either. Here's their response to an inquiry.

    Dear Mr. XXX,

Thank you for taking the time to e-mail us regarding the OnStar MyLink mobile app feature.

At this time, the OnStar MyLink mobile app technology has been validated on the iPhone (including the new iPhone 4) and the Android mobile OS (including the Droid, Droid Incredible and new Droid X). We chose some of the most popular and capable phones on the market today for our initial applications. There is no information available at this time regarding if other phones would become available to use this feature. I am sorry that your current phone will not work with the OnStar MyLink mobile app.

Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any other questions, call us at 1.888.4.ONSTAR (1.888.466.7827) or press your blue button.

    Sincerely,

    Krista

got the same response too. Also wrote newtoy makers of words with friends. They responded android requests outnumber webOS requests 10 to 1. Oh well maybe in 2011 when all that awesome hardware is supposed to come.

I just did this. There is an "idea submission" link on their contact page, that was suggested by the OnStar rep I was working with.

You'll even wind up with a tracking number. I basically asked them to bring the MyLink application to HP webOS smart phones. I said that a native application is preferred, but they could port the iPhone version quickly using the PDK, then put in the Palm developer site link.

Anyone at all who has OnStar and a webOS phone should be doing this!!! Squeeky wheel folks!!

If you'd rather click to it then use the link:
