I'm faithful pre owner, and my father always raves about how much better blackberries are and all this other nonsense. I'm also a college student, and I would like to know if the pre has an app that edits documents and send them similar to how the blackberry does it? It would really help, and if not can a hombrew person make an app? I'm sure I'm not the only one that would benifit.

Quick Office will be read-only initially. Editing comes a bit later.

Yeah, I'm sure it is, it was just funny because that has been the standard answer since June of 2009.

You have Pretext, Scratch Word Processor and Cloudocs currently available for text editors with integration to Google Docs as well. We just don't have the Office type editors yet.
Clicking the Thanks button is a great way to say... well THANKS

webos 2.x is hp's test to see if they can help accelerate palms pace of putting functionality in the os and stock apps. I hope hp understands the need for these kind of things, and is actively putting resources towards greater functionality, but I was disapointed to hear that doc editing won't be available at the launch of 2.0
