Okay, so I had it happen to me now, but once I turned off the screen and turned it back on it worked (showing it correctly). Seems to be if you try to turn the screen on almost immediately after receiving the text it happens.

Edit: Okay, I have gotten it to the point were it doesn't show up at all, Try rebooting your phone completely , hold down the orange(silver if verizon) ,sym, and R button all at one time.

    Should do the trick

Instead of having the app send every word after the spacebar is pressed, why couldn't we just type as much as we want and send it all together by hitting a send button. This worked well for the app Mini-Keyboard. Here's a link.

You can already do that by using app mode.
Hit the function key (?1) then the rocket key (bottom right).

You can type away in there, edit freely, (portrait or landscape). You can open the sms app with your text, email app, browser, dictionary, google maps or save it as the next available quick key (options from left to right across the top of app mode).

OR, you can type in there, exit app mode, open the keyboard and press send. It will send the text that you had typed in app mode.

Hope that helps! Here's a screenshot of the app in landscape app mode.

That is a cool feature didn't know it existed. Can we add apps to the row?

Not currently, but I could work on that. Palm resident apps or 'other' apps?

btw, for text messages in app mode, type the phone number on one line, then the message on the other and hit the sms button on the top left.. It will insert the contact as well as the message.
    So

    12345678890
    My text message

    Email: Like this

    Email address
    subject
    text

    or
    Email address
    Text

For the browser, type a web address and hit the borwser button.
Dictionary, type in a single word.
Maps, type in anything that works in google maps search.
Type then hit the QK button, and it saves the text in the next available quick keys button.

Type and exit, the text wil be available by the 'send' button on the regular kb.

Thanks, have you thought about putting these tips in the help section or on the main screen as a link. This will make me start using it more. I couldn't stand that notification bong so I made me a silent ringtone to get rid of it. I now need to disable vibration when starting up. Why does your app do that?

The tips are in the help (preferences screen, top let drop down menu, help). I need to update the screenshots and some wording - it's just been a rushed week.

The "bong" and the vibrate are what Palm does on a popup alert, which is the dialog type I had to use so the keyboard would be available in front of other apps. I haven't seen a way to control this for an individual popup alert yet. I don't think Palm envisioned someone using it for what I am using it for.

Go into "Sounds & Ringtones" App and under " ringer switch " -> "rings & alerts" turn it to, sound only, not sounds and virbrate .

    Hope this helps, take care

If you use the quick keys you can see it, just barely showing (program the quick keys to hold your username and password) that way its just three clicks and your good to go. I think the quick keys are very useful and come in handy a lot if you get use to them.

Or click on the username spot first(pic1), open the keyboard, type what you want then press send, and it will send it there even though you can't see it; then you can just click on the password spot and keep the keyboard open because it fits showing on the screen(pic2).

Here's the story on that one. I had programmed everything up and had it all working, then realized I didn't add a key to go to the next set of quick keys, so I did the simplest thing and took 21 back. I should have shifted everything back 1, but I was so exhausted by that point that I just left it and announced "57 quick keys".
