Forums (Tapatalk Powered) - Forum App for webOS
 

Hi Folks,

I'm glad to announce the availability of [B]Forums[/B], the Tapatalk client for webOS. The app is available in the App Catalog [URL="http://developer.palm.com/appredirect/?packageid=com.newnessdevelopments.forums"]here[/URL]!

Forums will enable you to navigate all the Tapatalk enabled forums (more than 10,000 forums!!!) directly from your device, with an optimized webOS interface, and with no need of the availability of a mobile website.

With forums you currently can navigate forums, but there are a lot of things coming: thanking posts, liking posts, uploading attachments, view profile infos, and so on. In a few words: all you can do in a desktop forum will be doable with [B]Forums[/B]

We have prepared a video form our first beta for you. Don't look at the UI! the final version has [URL="http://www.newnessdevelopments.com/?page_id=164&show=gallery"]a really appealing UI[/URL]. Remember that Tapatalk compatible forums are growing everyday, and right now there are more than 10,000 compatible forums.

Private Messages not, we are redefining some work on this, and we can't do it for this release. Probably you'll have better luck with search.

Please, be patient. Very limited resources and a lot of things to do causes delays...

I would suggest listing the features that don't work here to avoid the plethora support chatter it will generate.

that's cool. I just didn't understand how he already has a link if the app isn't there. My ignorance about how the app catalog works...

I believe you get a link to the app before the entry associated with the app gets into the app catalog feeds that are used by the installer, Preware, etc. It seems to takes several hours to sync up.

I'm foaming @ the mouth for this. I'd like to see some interaction between this and the 'PreCentral News' app

do we need to uninstall the previous vers or just download the new pub beta?
