If there is to be an update I suggest bigger font size and a way to jump to top or bottom of page like precentral un-official app. But to get recent posts working again is top priority

I sent an email a month ago to support@newnessdev...com mailadress but haven't heard back since, so I'll post my question here again, hoping for an answer:

There's a new version of Tapatalk vbulletin plugin available since mid august. When I visit a forum that uses vbulletin and this updated version of tapatalk, I get an error message that the forum used an older version of tapatalk and needed updating (while it's actually this client that needs updating) and that I could only read but not write posts. Well, I actually can write posts, but since the error message comes back every time I visit one of those forums it's getting kind of annoying. Wonder if there will ever be an update to this client (forums) again?

As an example, search within the app for 'isiforums'.

Hey , I need to install the Forums app . I cant access the App catalogue paid apps. Is there any other way to get the app and pay for it , or someone can suggest some other substitute for Forums app.

This forums app has the recent posts function broken, no idea if it will be fixed. Get webosnation nation news(unofficial) from preware. Its easier to read than the website

Note that it (recent posts) is not broken on all forums -- I suspect it is pretty widespread though. I only have two forums affected in ones that I use regularly, webOSNation being one of them, which is a real drag as it's the one I use the most.

There won't be any more updates. We don't even get our questions answered by the developer anymore. It sucks, but who can blame him. There's no money in a webos app any more, let alone in an update. The thing I'm disappointed in is the fact that he doesn't even feel the need to answer our questions even though he still visits this forum. That's bad style.

I guess than this calls for a Homebrew effort to get a new app for viewing Message boards , just like our own Google maps and Mojowhatsup. I hope someone thinks its worthwhile to continue developing such apps for webos fans.

id like that, would be nice if he did, that any "homebrew updated" version had donate links for the original as well as maintainer devs.

I would have tried looking into it myself, but the code is minified and obfuscated so much I can't read most of it.

Long answer:

Just remember the Leopocalypse? My life is going through something similar. Long story short: Changes on recent posts need some reworking, and currently I don't have the time needed to accomplish it. When will be able to sort things out? Dunno, it depends on several factors.
